Max Thornbury is learning
the role of Hamlet with the help of a home-made rehearsal recording.
As
he reflects on the events of his life and the reluctance of casting
directors to consider fat-man Hamlets, the recording takes on a
life of its own: friends and colleagues speak Shakespeare's lines
in their dialogues with Max.
Comedy turns to tragedy as Max's sinister
and guilty secret is revealed.
Hamlet: Tragedy of a Fat Man has a running time of approximately
45 minutes. |
